Hadapi MEA, Mahasiswa Teknik Kimia Unifa adakan Seminar Nasional dan Workshop K3

Untuk pertama kalinya, Mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik Jurusan Teknik Kimia Universitas Fajar mengadakan Seminar Nasional dan Workshop K3. Dengan memasuki kawasan Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN, kegiatan tersebut mengangkat tema Strategi Peningkatan Kualitas Angkatan kerja dan Tata Kelola K3 dalam Menghadapi MEA di bidang Industri. Sabtu, 28 Mei.

Seminar yang berlangsung di Graha Pena tersebut secara resmi dibuka oleh Deputi Rektor I Universitas Fajar. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pemaparan materi tentang manajemen K3 oleh Drs. Mappaselle dan Drs. Adi kurnia M.M. Pelaksanaan seminar dan workshop K3 ini mendapat dukungan penuh dalam segi pendanaan oleh Unifa.

Ketua prodi Teknik Kimia, Andi. Sri Aryani ST.,MT mengatakan, ” Karena sekarang kita menghadapi era MEA,  kita harus memiliki wawasan yang lebih luas untuk bersaing kedepannya dan menjadi ajang untuk menambah ilmu mengenai K3 dan manajemennya dalam ruang lingkup industri”.

Tidak hanya mahasiswa Unifa, kegiatan ini pun dihadiri dari berbagai kampus. Salah satunya adalah Riska, mahasiswa jurusan Teknik Kimia, Universitas Kristen Indonesia Paulus (UKIP). Ia mengatakan, “kegiatan ini sangat luar biasa, selain menambah wawasan tentang MEA, juga memberikan materi tentang Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja yang sangat saya butuhkan,” tutupnya.
