Universitas Fajar kerjasama Direktorat Pengembangan SDM Pariwisata Deputi Bidang Kerjasama dan Kelembagaan Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif melaksanakan Bimbingan Teknis Pendampingan Desa Wisata Regional IIA (Desa Kabba Kecamatan Minasatene Kabupaten Pangkep Sulawesi Selatan) di hotel Santika Makassar, 10 September 2020.
Dalam sambutannya Sekretaris Deputi Bidang Sumber Daya dan Kelembagaan KEMENPAREKRAF menyatakan bahwa dimasa pandemic covid 19 ini, pihak Kementerian Pariwisata adalah salah satu kementerian yang paling terpuruk dampaknya. Hotel, travel, destinasi wisata, sebagian besar masyarakat yang menggantungkan perekonomiannya dibidang Pariwisata mengalami kondisi yang memperihatinkan akan tetapi semangat kita tidak boleh kendor bahkan lebih dipacu lagi untuk meningkatkan potensi wisata yang kita miliki, salah satunya pengembangan desa wisata untuk menyongsong era baru.

Kegiatan Bimbingan Teknis ini dilaksanakan selama 1 hari dengan menghadirkan masyarakat Desa Kabba tentunya dengan memperhatikan protokol kesehatan, rapid tes sebelum masuk, menjaga kebersihan tangan, pakai masker dan social distancing. Narasumber yang menyampaikan materi merupakan tim dosen Universitas Fajar. (*)
